Job summary

Exyte is seeking a Construction Manager MEP (m/f/d) to lead the on-site execution of complex EPC projects in high-tech sectors. You will manage electrical systems, coordinate subcontractors, ensure schedule adherence and quality, and supervise the site team across shifts.

Travel within the D-A-CH region is expected; strong German language skills are required for communication with staff and authorities, with English as a plus. A relevant civil/ electrical engineering qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and local regulations.
• Willingness to travel within D-A-CH region and stay on site for five days.
• Good intercultural communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Construction management of high-tech industrial projects with focus on MEP (e.g. electrical systems).
• Ensuring that construction projects are carried according to schedule and a high level of quality.
• Meetings and correspondence with subcontractors and technical contact for our customers.
• Responsibility for coordinating construction participants and subcontractors, as well as leading the constructionsite team.
• Schedule planning and monitoring construction progress.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations.
• Conducting site inspections and acceptance inspections.
• Recording defects and tracking defect resolution progress.
• Measurement creation and billing for construction projects.

Show your expertise

• Relevant qualification in construction (e.g., master's or technician qualification), or a completed degree in civilengineering, architecture, building services engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in construction management
• Good knowledge of building codes, local regulations and standards
• Willingness to travel within D-A-CH region and to stay on site for 5 days during project assignments
• Intercultural competence, team spirit and ability to work independently
• Proficiency in German, both written and spoken to ensure an effective communication with German-speakingstaff and authorities, good English skills would be a plus
• Valid German driver's license Class B
