Job summary

Atomic Austria GmbH in Altenmarkt im Pongau is seeking a Junior Product Designer to support the Boots Design Manager across Alpine, Touring and Nordic boot development. You will contribute from research through CMF and technical documentation, collaborating with design, product management, development and industrialization teams.

You should bring a strong portfolio, excellent sketching and CAD/3D visualization skills, and a proactive, curious mindset with English fluency.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating industrial design ability and visual communication.
• Excellent hand-sketching and ideation skills with eye for form and detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with CAD software, 3D visualization and rendering.
• Understanding of CMF, materials and contemporary design trends.
• Structured, detail-oriented; translate concepts into technical specs.
• Curious, collaborative, and able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Interest in winter sports; Alpine/Touring/Nordic experience a plus.
• Business-fluent English; German skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of Alpine, Touring and Nordic boots.
• Create sketches, concepts and visualizations.
• Develop concepts through physical and digital prototyping.
• Support 3D CAD development.
• Contribute to seasonal range design and CMF.
• Create and maintain Tech Packs and specification files.
• Support specifications for products, packaging, graphics, design questionnaires and spare parts.
• Participate in design reviews, workshops and concept development.
