Job summary

D-ploy GmbH is seeking an experienced IT/OT support specialist to join our international team in Austria. You will provide onsite and local support for global IT groups, troubleshoot automation and production systems, and help ensure data integrity in lab environments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in IT or engineering, 5+ years in regulated settings, strong networking, and fluency in German and English. You must be able to work on-site and participate in an on-call rotation, with opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor's in IT, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years IT/OT support in regulated environments.
Experience with industrial IT systems, SCADA/PLC, and lab software.
Networking knowledge (VLAN, Firewall, Routing).
ITIL knowledge; ServiceNow/Remedy ticketing.
MS SQL database troubleshooting.
Available for onsite support and 24/7 on-call rotation.
Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
Criminal record check within the last 3 months.

Responsibilities

Onsite IT/OT support including break/fix for thin clients, IPCs, handhelds, and lab equipment.
Local hands-and-feet support for global IT teams.
Troubleshooting automation and production systems (PLC, SCADA, OT networks).
Support for software upgrades, patching, and backups in lab/OT environments.
Incident, problem, and change management (ITIL-based).
Compliance with CSV, GxP, and data integrity procedures.
Participation in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
