Job summary

INNIO Group in Austria is offering an internship in Product Cost Management (m/f/d) within the Product Line Management team. The role focuses on analyzing and optimizing product costs, collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Commercial teams to improve competitiveness and drive long-term success.

The position provides flexitime and potential home office, public transport access, travel allowances, canteen meals, and an Alpine-location environment with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or a technical field.
• Full-time preferred; part-time with max. 20 hours/week possible.
• First project management experience is desired.
• High motivation and ability to work independently.
• Clear and precise communication style in a diverse, international, dynamic environment.
• Very good MS-Office and analytic skills.
• Fluent in English; German or other languages are a plus.
• A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply methods to improve product costs of components/systems systematically (ABC analysis, value analysis, should costing, target costing).
• Deep dive on specific components and compare technical and cost relevant features.
• Pro-actively collect ideas with product cost impact from various functions (Sourcing, Engineering, Service, Operations), evaluate and prioritize ideas based on given criteria.
• Support & lead the cross-functional initiation of projects under guidance of a mentor.
• Support administrative activities within Product Line Management Team

Your Responsibilities

• Fluent in English, German or any other languages are a plus

The internship is to be filled as soon as possible for 6 months with a possible extension to 12 months. The basic salary for this position is based on the statutory minimum salary of EUR 2.755,26 gross per month in Austria.
