Zusammenfassung

Frequentis Group, headquartered in Vienna, is an international provider of critical communications and information systems. We are seeking an experienced tester to ensure software quality through manual and automated testing and to implement test strategies.

You will develop automation scripts using the Frequentis Test Framework (CATS), maintain test systems, analyze requirements, and monitor testing KPIs to drive continuous quality improvement. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of professional testing experience.
• IT training focusing on networking, communications, or software development.
• Knowledge of JAMA and Agile frameworks is a plus.
• Strong technical skills with analytical thinking and a structured approach.
• Network switching/routing knowledge; Cisco and Red Hat/Linux certs are advantageous.
• Very good English; German knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~10% of the time.

Key Tasks

• Manual and automated testing: conducting functional and non-functional tests (manual and automated) to ensure software quality.
• Planning and implementation of test strategies and test plans
• Development of automation scripts using the Frequentis Test Framework (CATS)
• Management and maintenance of test systems and environments
• Analysis of requirements and creation of effective test cases
• Continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards
• Support of project management and coordination of testing activities
• Monitoring and reporting of test progress using relevant KPIs

Key Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ professional experience in a testing environment.
• Completed IT training with a focus on one of the following areas: network engineering, communications engineering or software development.
• Knowledge of JAMA and agil Frameworks is an advantage.
• Strong technical skills, analytical thinking and a structured approach to work.
• Network switching and routing skills and operating system skills (Cisco and Red Hat/Linux certifications are an advantage).
• Very good command of English, good German knowledge is an advantage
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
