ams OSRAM's LSP unit seeks a Capacity Planning professional to build and maintain capacity models, analyze bottlenecks, and translate forecasts into actionable requirements for equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.

The role drives CAPEX planning with ROI analyses and supports layout optimization. You will develop dashboards and KPIs to enable data-driven investment decisions, applying strong analytics and English proficiency in a fast-growing photonics environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years in Industrial Engineering, Capacity Planning, Factory Planning, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience in production data analysis, KPI development, and data visualization tools (Spotfire, Power BI, Python, SQL).
• Experience developing business cases and conducting CAPEX ROI and Cost of Ownership analyses.
• ACredentials or practical experience in AI/Data Science/Advanced Analytics or Digital Manufacturing are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Fluency in English.

• Master's degree (M.Sc.) or Dipl.-Ing. in Industrial Engineering, Physics, Data Science, Production Engineering, or a related field
• Several (3+) years of experience in e.g. Industrial Engineering, Capacity Planning, Factory Planning, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or a related field
• Proficiency in production data analysis, KPI development, and data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Power BI, Python, SQL, or similar platforms
• Experience in developing business cases and conducting CAPEX evaluations, including ROI and Cost of Ownership analyses
• Practical experience or accredited Micro-Credentials in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Digital Manufacturing, or related fields are considered a strong advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
• Fluency in English
