EFSTA is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to combine technical expertise with sales acumen. You will guide customers from initial inquiry to deal closure, working closely with the sales team in a hybrid setup across Steyr, Austria or Munich, Germany. The role requires at least 3 years in relevant technical sales and fluency in German and English.

Salary starts at €58,000 gross per year, with potential above-market pay and a variable component. Travel of 20–30% within Europe is expected.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in pre-sales, solution engineering, or similar customer-facing tech role.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, Windows/Linux, networks and databases.
• Excellent communication, presentation and sales skills.
• German professional proficiency and fluent English.
• Willingness to travel ~20–30% across Europe.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support throughout the sales process from discovery to closure.
• Analyze POS, cash register, and system architectures and develop solution scenarios.
• Conduct workshops, demonstrations and proofs of concept.
• Handle RFIs, RFPs and security/compliance questionnaires.
• Develop feasibility and cost estimates for proposals.
• Explain regulatory requirements (e.g., KassenSichV/TSE, RKSV, Verifactu, TicketBAI).
• Handover closed deals to the consulting team.
