This position is located at the EGSTON Power Head Office in Klosterneuburg, Austria. As a customer-orientated engineer with an authentic communication style, you know how to quickly identify customer needs, develop and demonstrate feasible solutions and convince customers of the benefits and unique selling points of our products. Internally, you will act as a competent link between Sales and R&D in order to optimise the further development of our product portfolio.

You will be

• Acting as the primary technical resource for customers from initial contact through project delivery and customer approval including on-site and remote technical support, hands-on assistance and issue resolution.
• Assisting customers with system architecture, design-in support, and detailed product explanations to ensure successful integration.
• Working closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions to drive business growth.
• Identifying sales potentials, innovative applications, and technical solutions to enhance customer engagement.
• Collaborating with internal product management, engineering, and R&D teams to relay customer feedback and ensure alignment with project requirements as well as product improvements and innovation.
• Conducting technical training sessions and presentations for customers and internal teams to facilitate understanding of complex products including technical documentation and competitive analysis to support sales initiatives.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Actively participating in conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows to strengthen brand presence and engage with industry stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Degree in electrical engineering (or similar), overall high affinity for technical challenges.
• Relevant professional experience as field application engineer for technically demanding products.
• Experience in power electronics and strong understanding of test applications.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and German. Further language skills are a plus.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.

For this position we offer an annual compensation including a variable portion of at least € 70,000 gross (full-time). The actual amount of your remuneration will depend on your qualifications and your experience and will be agreed upon individually.
