Job summary

Erste Bank Oesterreich is seeking an IT strategist within the CIO team to shape the IT agenda and governance for a leading financial institution in Austria. You will support the development and implementation of IT strategy, engage with Business, IT, Erste Digital and Group functions, and drive strategic technology topics across architecture, cloud, data and AI.

This role offers direct exposure to senior IT leadership, room to own initiatives, and opportunities to grow into broader CIO

Qualifications

University degree or comparable practical experience with 3–5 years in IT strategy, governance or related field.
Strong analytical and communication skills; able to present to senior management.
Good English; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Support development and implementation of the EBOe IT strategy and CIO initiatives.
Analyze technology trends and translate into business implications for IT and governance.
Contribute to IT governance, portfolio and technology regulation topics.
Prepare decision papers and management presentations for CIO and senior stakeholders.
Collaborate with Erste Digital and internal stakeholders on strategic tech topics.
Facilitate workshops with Business and IT stakeholders.
Improve governance processes and decision-making across the CIO organization.
