Zusammenfassung

Erste Bank Oesterreich, part of the Erste Group, is seeking an IT strategy professional to shape the CIO agenda. You will develop and implement IT strategy, work on strategic technology topics with Business, IT, Erste Digital and Group functions, and support governance and decision making at senior levels.

The role offers exposure to architecture, cloud, data and AI, with a balance of office and home-based work. English proficiency is essential; banking experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifikationen

• University degree or comparable practical experience with 3–5 years in IT strategy, technology consulting, IT management, governance or a related field.
• Good understanding of modern technology and IT organizations; exposure to architecture, cloud, software engineering, data or AI is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex topics clearly.

Aufgaben

• Support the development and implementation of the EBOe IT strategy and strategic CIO initiatives
• Analyze technology trends and translate them into implications for our business, IT landscape and governance
• Contribute to IT governance, portfolio and investment management as well as technology-related regulatory topics
• Prepare decision papers, management presentations and structured analyses for the CIO and senior stakeholders
• Work with Erste Digital and internal stakeholders on strategic technology topics, including architecture, cloud, data and AI
• Support cross-functional initiatives and facilitate workshops with Business and IT stakeholders
• Help improve governance processes, transparency and decision‑making across the CIO organization
