Job summary

Sumosan Vienna is recruiting a Head Waiter to join our Front of House team for our premiere Austrian venue. You will deliver premium service, showcase wine, sake and cocktails knowledge, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, luxury dining environment.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in premium dining, strong communication skills, and familiarity with POS systems. A valid right to work in Austria is required. Experience in Japanese or contemporary Asian concepts is a plus.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in premium or fine dining restaurants.
• Good knowledge of wine, sake, and cocktails.

As we prepare to open our doors in Vienna, we are looking for passionate hospitality professionals to join our Front of House team.

We are currently recruiting Head Waiters who share our commitment to exceptional service, attention to detail, and creating memorable dining experiences.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking confident, personable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, premium dining environment and bring both professionalism and genuine warmth to every guest interaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in premium or fine dining restaurants
• Good knowledge of wine, sake, and cocktails
• Confidence working with POS systems
• Strong communication skills and a natural, attentive approach to service
• Understanding of food safety procedures and allergen management
• Valid right to work in Austria

AN ADVANTAGE:

• Experience in Japanese or contemporary Asian restaurants
• WSET Level 2 or recognised sake qualifications
• Previous experience in luxury hotels or private members' clubs
• Additional language skills
• Experience with restaurant openings
