Tasks

• Professional and warm guest service at a high level
• Independent management of a service station
• Taking orders and professionally serving food and drinks
• Ensuring a smooth process within the area of responsibility
• Guidance and support for commis de rang and interns
• Control of the mise en place and ensuring cleanliness and order
• Advising guests on food and wine selection
• Complaint management in close cooperation with the restaurant manager
• Compliance with hygiene standards according to HACCP

Qualifications

• Completed training in the hotel or catering industry
• Several years of professional experience in the upscale service sector
• Well-groomed, professional appearance and excellent manners
• Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of guest interaction
• Resilience, sense of responsibility and team spirit
• Good English skills, additional languages an advantage
• Wine knowledge and enthusiasm for culinary arts
• A friendly working atmosphere in a harmonious environment
• Payment according to the collective agreement with willingness to pay above the standard rate depending on qualifications.
