xczeptiq is seeking a Head of Engineering to scale the engineering org, set long-term technical direction, and ensure production-ready solutions for our AI-driven enterprise platform. This founding-stage, hands-on leadership role starts with core development and rapidly builds a team from the ground up.

You will work closely with the founders to translate business needs into robust, secure systems, balancing architecture with delivery and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in building and scaling technical teams.
• Hands-on software development with modern engineering practices.
• Experience with AI-driven or data-intensive products.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead by example with high-quality software development (vibe coding at the start).
• Build, mentor and scale a world-class engineering team from scratch.
• Define technical standards, best practices and code quality benchmarks.
• Manage project timelines, resources and cross-functional dependencies.
• Collaborate directly with founders, data teams and business stakeholders.
• Maintain system reliability, privacy and regulatory compliance.
