Job summary

BeOne Medicines is seeking a Country Medical Director for Austria to drive local medical strategy and scientific engagement. You will lead Medical Associates, develop strategic medical plans, and ensure alignment with regional and global portfolios while collaborating with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance teams.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, haemato-oncology expertise, and stakeholder management across national and regional levels, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• MD Physician or PhD with significant pharma/biotech experience.
• Proven track record in leading Medical Affairs teams.
• Strong knowledge of Haemato-Oncology and Oncology.
• Experience with local health systems and regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication in English and German.

Responsibilities

• Provide local input into global/regional product strategies and translate into in-country tactics.
• Develop and implement medical plans aligned with regional/global strategy and local business needs.
• Establish scientifically credible peer-to-peer relationships with national & regional opinion leaders.
• Lead Medical Associates in Austria and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, QA, PV).
• Oversee local medical meetings, publications, ISR/clinical activities, and investigator meetings.
