  • Contribute the medical perspective to brand/portfolio planning, lifecycle management, pre-launch/launch readiness, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Maintain current scientific, clinical, product, treatment-landscape, and competitor knowledge in hematology/oncology and provide product- or therapeutic-area-specific scientific training as required.
2. Coordinated Stakeholder Engagement, Insights & Scientific Leadership
  • Provide scientific leadership within cross-functional project teams and act as a trusted medical expert across the affiliate.
  • Develop and execute structured stakeholder engagement plans, including mapping and prioritization of External Experts, scientific societies, investigators, HCPs, and other relevant stakeholders; build trusted long-term scientific relationships and conduct balanced, non-promotional scientific exchange.
  • Systematically capture, document, analyze, and prioritize medical insights and translate them into actionable recommendations for affiliate, regional, and global teams.
  • Provide scientific and educational presentations and represent Incyte at relevant congresses, and medical meetings; support scientific preparation of external experts/faculty for legitimate scientific activities.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration, Launch Readiness & Digital Enablement
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Value & Access/Market Access, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Compliance, Legal, Clinical Operations, and Regional/Global Medical Affairs while maintaining appropriate Medical Affairs independence; contribute to launch readiness by integrating stakeholder insights, patient journeys, treatment pathways, evidence needs, the competitive/scientific landscape, and local implementation considerations.
  • Contribute to compliant omnichannel medical engagement by selecting and sequencing appropriate in-person and digital channels; use approved internal systems and AI-enabled tools to improve planning, efficiency, content utilization, and insight generation.
  • Develop and adapt high-quality local scientific materials, including slide decks, Q&A documents, scientific narratives, communication plans, and digital content, aligned with approved evidence and local requirements.
5. Medical Governance, Compliance & Operational Excellence
  • Adhere to corporate SOPs and applicable legal, regulatory, ethical, pharmacovigilance, data-protection, and industry requirements governing interactions with HCPs and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure timely documentation of medical activities, interactions, insights, and follow-up actions and manage assigned projects within agreed scope, timelines, and budget, coordinating external vendors where applicable.
