Job summary

ALDI SÜD HOLDING in Austria seeks an experienced analytics professional to own and continually enhance the global framework for store performance. You will ensure KPI consistency across countries and formats, analyze large portfolios to identify gaps, and drive actionable improvements with senior stakeholders.

The role emphasizes Power BI and SAP-based reporting, data quality, and scalable methodologies to support global performance steering and benchmarking across an extensive retail network.

Qualifications

• Experience in controlling, FP&A or performance management.
• Strong ability to analyse large, heterogeneous datasets and derive commercial recommendations.
• Proficiency in Power BI, data modelling, Power Query and DAX; SAP/BW or S/4HANA experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the global analytical framework for store performance.
• Analyse large store portfolios to identify patterns and gaps.
• Assess performance potential at multiple levels (store to country) and prioritise opportunities.
• Build driver trees and explain variances across key metrics.
• Partner with country Finance and Operations to convert findings into actionable insights.
• Develop benchmarks, peer groups and advanced analyses including scenario-based business cases.
• Design management-ready narratives using Power BI and SAP with emphasis on data quality and repeatability.
• Provide concise, fact-based recommendations to senior stakeholders and contribute to global reporting standards.
