Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience in payroll and client/managed payroll environments.
• Expert knowledge of Dutch payroll legislation, regulations and local requirements.
• Proven experience leading or delivering payroll implementations across international or multi-country environments.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, reconciliations, accounting principles and operational controls for accurate payroll delivery.
• Proficiency with local payroll systems and technology, including SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills to explain payroll processes clearly.
• Analytical, structured problem-solving with attention to detail and root-cause identification.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
• Process-oriented, productivity-focused with a proactive approach to improve efficiency.
• Comfortable working asynchronously and independently, taking ownership without constant supervision.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience working remotely is a plus.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills to mentor colleagues.

Aufgaben

• Act as payroll subject matter expert for the Netherlands, guiding local processes, legislation and implementation considerations.
• Participate in sales calls, handovers and client kick-offs to clarify requirements.
• Lead global payroll implementations from inception to live payroll.
• Develop and maintain detailed implementation plans, timelines and priorities.
• Serve as a key contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Establish standardized processes, documentation and SOPs for consistent delivery.
• Maintain records of decisions, processes and requirements for BAU readiness.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs, identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Provide support during/after implementation and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Mentor Payroll Generalists and collaborate with wider teams.
• Work with product/technology teams on platform improvements and testing.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and speed up delivery.
