Job summary

ABB is seeking a senior FP&A leader to drive reliable financial analysis, annual and long-term planning (APP/LPP), and forecasts. You will guide senior stakeholders, set the Finance Storyline, and push digitalization and AI within FP&A across global divisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with global Business Lines FP&A, use of Excel/PowerPoint, Power BI, SAP, and modern finance tools. Flexible, international travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, financial or operational controlling or business finance.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Proven track record of partnering with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of financial results and coordinate management reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Evaluate strategic, financial, or major investment decisions.
• Define and oversee planning processes including APP and forecast, with global FP&A.
• Ensure APP and forecast instructions are updated and followed.
• Drive standardized FP&A processes and AI-enabled tools with Data Management and Finance Operations.
• Prepare business reviews on performance and analysis for the global Division with FP&A.
• Collaborate with Finance Operations and reporting units to improve data quality.
• Lead planning process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Create and update the global Division Forecast and APP/LPP with stakeholders.
• Champion training on FP&A tools and share best practices across Finance.
