Job summary

Light for the World is seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to strengthen financial management and strategic decision-making across the organisation. You will oversee global budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, aligning resources with our mission and working with senior leadership, country offices and National Members.

In this role you lead the FP&A team, develop planning tools and reporting frameworks, and translate financial data into actionable insights for sustainable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial management, ideally leading FP&A or similar functions in an iNGO or complex international organisation.
• Proven experience with multi-currency, multi-country budgeting and financial consolidation.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, ideally managing teams across regions or time zones.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills, you turn numbers into strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and inspire the FP&A team, set clear goals and coach for growth.
• Steer the annual budgeting and multi-year financial planning processes.
• Provide financial insights that support strategic objectives and long-term sustainability.
• Partner with senior leadership on scenario planning, resource allocation and risk management.
• Deliver timely, accurate management reports for senior leadership and boards.
