Bitpanda is seeking a senior data protection leader in Vienna to define and execute the global DPMS for the Bitpanda Group, ensuring GDPR alignment and secure product pipelines across international markets.

You will collaborate with the C-suite, engineering, and product teams to translate complex privacy requirements into actionable strategies, drive audits, and guide regulatory responses while fostering a privacy-aware culture across our fintech and crypto platforms.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of data protection experience, ideally with international law firms, regulatory authorities, or in-house privacy teams.
• Appointed Data Protection Officer experience preferred.
• Strategic ability to navigate digital assets and regulated financial services.
• Excellent English; German at C1+ level required.
• Privacy certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM) are advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and evolve enterprise DPMS across international markets.
• Serve as Group Data Protection Officer and liaise with data protection authorities across Europe, UK and UAE.
• Advise on privacy for complex initiatives at the intersection of data privacy, blockchain, and AI.
• Own the data protection control framework and oversee remediation of gaps.
• Oversee DSARs, incident response, DPAs, and cross-border data transfers.
• Drive privacy training and awareness across the organization.
