Job summary

ams OSRAM Group is seeking a Technical Project Lead for foundry customers to drive key projects in analog and mixed-signal design. You will provide expert support for CADENCE environments and PDK workflows, coordinating tape-outs and training for customers.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in electronics, 10+ years in analog design, and excellent communication, with English fluency and a willingness to work in a dynamic, international team.

Qualifications

• Technical education (HTL, Bachelor or Master) in Electronics, Telematics or Physics.
• Good knowledge of analog circuit design (10+ years).
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Problem solving mindset and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Technical Project Lead for foundry customers.
• Technical support for Foundry customers (350nm CMOS and HV CMOS, 180nm CMOS and BCD technologies).
• Support in mixed signal microchip design for Foundry customers with focus on analog design.
• Support in CADENCE design environment.
• Support in physical design verification with Siemens/Mentor/Calibre and Cadence/Assura.
• Tape-outs to internal Maskshop data preparation group.
• Participation in PDK training for customers as tutor.
• PDK licensing management.

Your new responsibilities

Who we are looking for

• Technical education (HTL, Bachelor or Master) in Electronics, Telematics or Physics.
• Good knowledge of analog circuit design (at least 10 years of experience).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Problem‑solving mindset and analytical thinking.
• Knowledge of microchip layout.
• Basic knowledge of Synopsis design environments is an advantage.
• Experience in project management is an advantage.
• High level of motivation and commitment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional language skills (e.g. German) are an advantage.
