Job summary

ams OSRAM AG in Austria is seeking a Professional to drive cost analysis, viability studies, and system cost modeling within Operations & Manufacturing. You will manage projects, coordinate handovers to PL Operations, Product Engineering and Master Planners, and support CAPEX planning for mass production equipment.

You bring a technical university degree in electronics or a related field, 3+ years of project management experience, and strong data analysis skills, with fluent English and German a

• Solid background in electronics manufacturing processes (design, fabrication, packaging, test)
• Fluent English; German would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Cost analysis and viability: challenge product cost and support system cost model setup.
• Project management and documentation: ensure Deliverables and handover to Operations, PL Ops, Product Eng and Master Planners
• Supply chain and materials management: coordinate project spec sourcing decisions incl. strategic decisions
• Cross-functional collaboration: support Safe Launch execution (excluding planning and data analysis)
• Financial planning: support CAPEX planning for mass production equipment needs

Your new responsibilities

• Cost Analysis & Commercial Viability: Challenge product cost and support set-up of system-based cost model.
• Project Management & Documentation: Ensure Project Deliverables from Operations are met on time and Manage Handover to PL Operations, Product Engineering and Master Planners
• Supply Chain & Materials Management: Coordinate Project spec Sourcing Decisions incl. driving Strategic Decisions
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support Safe Launch execution (excluding planning and technical Data analysis)
• Financial Planning: Support project specific CAPEX planning with focus on Mass Production equipment needs

Who we are looking for

• Technical University/University of Applied Sciences in electronics, telematics, physics or equivalent areas
• Project management education and experience > 3 years
• Solid technical background of integrated circuit manufacturing processes (design, fabrication, packaging, test)
• Ability to solve problems, Failure Analysis
• Technical problem understanding and Data Analysis capabilities
• Project Management, structured approach
• Fluent in English, knowledge of German would be an advantage
