Job summary

Trayport in Vienna is seeking a Desktop Support Administrator to join the team and support the Vienna office’s IT needs, escalating to global teams when required. You will be the first point of contact for on-site IT issues, triaging and escalating as needed, and supporting internal users and maintaining IT systems.

You will work with an IT Systems Administrator in Vienna, handling Windows and Apple devices, onboarding/offboarding, software renewals, asset management, and patching.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years IT experience.
• Knowledge of Windows and Mac MDM systems.
• Ability to follow processes and guides to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide end user support for Windows and Apple devices including iOS/Android devices.
• Maintain phone systems, conferencing systems, printers and scanners; support local access systems.
• Triage and escalate in-office and remote user requests as needed.
• Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or local networks.
• Document guidelines and manuals for local users.
• Own onboarding and offboarding processes for joiners and leavers, including inductions.
• Process software renewals and manage asset lifecycle.
• Patch and vulnerability management on user devices.

Job description

Supporting the Vienna office for their IT needs, escalating to supporting teams when necessary. The Role Trayport is currently looking for a Desktop Support Administrator to join our team in Vienna.

Working alongside an IT Systems Administrator based in Vienna you will be the first point of contact for any on site IT issues that may arise, triaging and escalating issues as and when needed. This is a key role in supporting the business, internal users and maintaining our internal IT systems and requires someone who can work independently whilst following processes, as well as being part of a wider global team.

Responsibilities

• Providing end user support for Windows and Apple devices, and for other managed devices like iOS and Android smartphones.
• Maintain phone systems, room conferencing systems, printers and scanners, support in local access system maintenance.
• Triage, and processing of in-office and remote user requests, escalating if beyond the scope of your role and/or knowledge
• Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or local network systems.
• Triage, troubleshooting and resolution of user issues & incidents, and escalating where deeper knowledge and/or experience is needed
• Documentation for local users, guidelines and manuals for employees.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Owning the Onboarding & offboarding process for joiners and leavers, including inductions.
• Processing software renewals.
• Asset management & disposal.
• Patching & vulnerability management on user devices.

The Person

• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, respond to changing priorities and react to short deadlines.
• Knowledge of Windows and Mac MDM systems.
• Ability to follow processes and guides to resolve common issues.
• An appetite for learning, problem solving and skills development is essential.
• Experience using PDQ and MDT is desirable.
• 1-2 years experience in IT.

As per the collective agreement, the minimum salary for this position is €36.000,00 . However we are willing to pay more based on experience and qualifications.
