Zusammenfassung

TriLite, a technology leader in precision engineering, invites a mechanical engineer to join its international team in Vienna. You will design and simulate high‑precision components, moving concepts from idea to prototype to production using CREO or Fusion 360 and COMSOL Multiphysics.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in mechanical design and thermal/acoustic simulations, fluent English, and a hands‑on, collaborative approach.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 4 years hands-on experience with COMSOL Multiphysics.
  • Strong experience with CREO and/or Autodesk Fusion 360 (or comparable CAD tools).
  • Solid understanding of thermal and acoustic simulations and physics-based modeling.

  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CREO and/or Autodesk Fusion 360.

At TriLite, we push the boundaries of high‑precision opto‑mechanical systems. As part of our growing, international engineering team, you will play a key role in designing and simulating advanced mechanical components that directly impact product performance and innovation.

This role is ideal for an experienced mechanical engineer who enjoys combining hands‑on design work with simulation‑driven engineering, and who wants to see their ideas move quickly from concept to prototype to production.

Tasks
Your Role & Impact

In this position, you will contribute to the full product lifecycle—from early design concepts through simulation, validation, and manufacturing readiness. You will work on high‑precision components and assemblies, optimizing them for:

  • Thermal performance
  • Acoustic behavior
  • Mechanical stability
  • Manufacturability

You will collaborate closely with experts in product development, electronics, MEMS engineering, and Operations, ensuring your designs meet both technical and real‑world constraints.

Your responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CREO and/or Autodesk Fusion 360
  • Perform thermal and acoustic simulations using COMSOL Multiphysics
  • Analyze, validate, and optimize designs based on simulation and test results
  • Support prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvements
  • Document designs, simulation setups, and key engineering decisions
  • Actively collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the organization
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 4 years of hands‑on experience with COMSOL Multiphysics
  • Strong experience with CREO and/or Autodesk Fusion 360 (or comparable CAD tools)
  • Solid understanding of thermal and acoustic simulations and physics‑based modeling
  • Experience in mechanical design and product development
  • Analytical, structured, and solution‑oriented working style
  • Ability to work both independently and within cross‑functional teams
  • Fluent English (German is a plus, but not required)
Nice to have (but not required):
  • Multiphysics simulations beyond thermal/acoustics
  • Prototyping and validation experience
  • Manufacturing knowledge
  • Basic programming skills (e.g. MATLAB, Python)
  • Experience in opto‑mechanical systems, or MEMS

Compensation & Legal Information
  • Minimum salary: €51,156.70 gross per year, based on the Austrian collective agreement for the metal industry
  • The actual salary will be determined individually based on your qualifications and experience
  • Applicants must have a valid work permit for Austria
