You will design components using metals, ceramics, plastics and coatings, ensure GD&T and SEMI alignment, and perform structural, thermal, and fluid analyses. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver high-quality, manufacturable solutions and comprehensive design reviews.

Qualifikationen

• HTL in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years of work experience
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, NX)
• Experience designing mechanical modules
• Good English communication (oral & written)
• MS Office knowledge

Aufgaben

• Support the full life cycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from concept to productization

What You’ll Do

• Support the full life cycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from concept to productizationincluding conceptualization, designing, CAD modeling, development, and test/validation.
• Designs components using variety of metals, ceramics, quartz, plastics, and advanced coatings.
• Ensure documentation aligns with SEMI, Lam standards, and industry best practices for geometricdimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Conduct detailed analysis including structural, finite element analysis (FEA), thermal, heat transfer, stress,vibrations, fluid and gas flow dynamics, and manufacturability to properly specify designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies and test plans to characterize and validate design performance.
• Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, evaluationand validation to a diverse audience in design reviews.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure solutions can be manufactured with high-quality,cost-optimized, and to requirements.
• Provide key deliverables including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), technical specifications,risk analysis, test specifications, and design review presentations

Who We’re Looking For

• Technical High School (HTL) in mechanical engineering or equivalent education
• 2+ years of work experience
• Excellent knowledge with AutoCAD, Inventor or NX (or similar CAD software) is required
• Experience with design creation of mechanical modules
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
• Good knowledge in MS Office

Compensation

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal TechnologyIndustries in occupation group E depending on education. A higher payment is negotiable depending onexpertise and skills.

The chosen candidate will be hired through a third party employment agency.

This position is subject to theAustrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise, education, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
