Zusammenfassung

MED-EL Medical Electronics in Innsbruck, Austria, seeks an R&D Engineer (m/f/d) to advance mechanical and biomedical development through 3D CAD modeling, simulations, and prototyping. You will contribute to design optimization and experimental validation to drive medical device innovations.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Comput. Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or related field.
• Experience with COMSOL Multiphysics, FEM and numerical simulations.
• CAD proficiency: SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, CATIA or NX; MATLAB and/or Python knowledge.
• Experience in force measurement technology, lab instrumentation, prototyping and experimental validation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; excellent written/spoken English.

• Development and optimization of 3D/CAD models for numerical simulations, prototyping, and technical applications

Your Profile

• Master’s degree or higher degree (University,FH) in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field
• Experience with COMSOL Multiphysics, finite element methods (FEM), and numerical simulations
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, CATIA, or NX) as well as knowledge of MATLAB and/or Python
• Experience in force measurement technology, laboratory instrumentation, prototyping, and experimental validation
• Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently in interdisciplinary research environments as well as excellent written and spoken English skills
