Zusammenfassung

xista science ventures in Vienna is seeking a Technical Operations Specialist to own the data-oriented, technical side of our platform for enterprise customers from day one. You will translate requirements into technical solutions, manage large data environments and craft custom reports.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in data roles, strong Excel and SQL skills, and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly in English. This is a hybrid position with flexible hours in Austria.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years of experience in a data-focused role (Data Analyst or similar).
• Very good Excel skills and tech-savviness, with ability to work across technologies.
• Working knowledge of SQL and comfortable with databases.
• Able to translate technical details into simple language for non-technical colleagues and customers.
• Reliable and detail-oriented in handling enterprise-scale data.
• Familiar with or willing to work in a fast-paced scaleup environment.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Hold a valid work permit for Austria.

Aufgaben

• Translate customer requirements into technical reality—set up new customer environments and tailor the platform to client needs.
• Handle bulk data updates and large-scale data imports, ensuring data quality across the system.
• Build and maintain custom reporting for enterprise customers and internal teams.
• Join customer calls to explain technical topics clearly and help customers get the most from the platform.
• Partner with Customer Success to troubleshoot roadblocks and help build automations.
