Mærsk H2S Safety Services is seeking several experienced Confined Space Watchmen / RescueMen to support a major industrial shutdown and commissioning project in Austria. The roles involve two 10‑hour shifts and run from December 21, 2026 to January 10, 2027.

Qualifikationen

• EU work authorization or legal right to work in Austria.
• 2+ years of industrial experience.
• 1+ year of confined space and rescue experience.
• Valid Confined Space, Gas Detection and First Aid certifications.
• Strong safety awareness and emergency response capability.
• Medically fit for industrial and confined space activities.
• English language skills; German and/or Italian is an advantage.

Mærsk H2S Safety Services are looking for several experienced Confined Space Watchmen / RescueMen to support a major industrial shutdown and commissioning project in Austria.

Project Period: Approx. 21 December 2026 – 10 January 2027

Schedule: Two 10-hour shifts (day and night)

Multiple Positions Available

Valid A1 Certificate (covering the assignment period in Austria) or Austrian work authorization.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor confined space entry activities and permit compliance
• Control access points and maintain communication with entrants
• Verify gas testing and safe working conditions
• Support emergency response and rescue activities
• Monitor compliance with site HSE requirements

Requirements

• Legal right to work within the EU
• 2+ years of industrial experience
• 1+ year of confined space and rescue experience
• Valid Confined Space, Gas Detection and First Aid certifications
• Strong safety awareness and emergency response capability
• Medically fit for industrial and confined space activities
• English language skills; German and/or Italian is an advantage

Preferred

• Valid A1 Certificate or existing right to work in Austria
• Experience in steel plants, oil & gas, mining or heavy industry
• First Aid, Working at Height or Rescue certifications
• Previous shutdown or commissioning experience
