Job summary

Restaurant International-Hoogeveen in the Netherlands is seeking a Chef de Partie to join a professional kitchen under the Head Chef. You will work with colleagues to maintain a well-organized kitchen and contribute to high-quality dishes.

Experience with Chinese cuisine is not required, as training will be provided. The role includes mise en place, stock management, and supervisory duties in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• MBO level 3 working and thinking level (Chef de Partie) per NL hospitality agreement.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare ingredients and perform mise en place.
• Apply basic cooking techniques and prepare dishes per recipes.
• Work with fresh products to ensure quality, taste and presentation.
• Contribute to menu composition, cards and prep methods.
• Manage stock and ordering processes, including FIFO and deliveries.
• Supervise kitchen assistants and other kitchen staff.
