Job summary

Saphetor SA is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive market expansion across the Central & Eastern Europe region for its VarSome platform. You will manage the full client lifecycle, from pre-sales discussions to post-sales support, while identifying growth opportunities and maintaining scientific rigor.

The role demands a commercial mindset, experience in NGS or bioinformatics, and the ability to work remotely with occasional meetings and travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quota-carrying Sales or Business Development
• Experience in NGS, Bioinformatics, or Health-Tech preferred
• Fluent English, strong communication and commercial mindset

Responsibilities

• Drive market expansion in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) for NGS bioinformatics products
• Lead generation for VarSome Premium, VarSome Clinical and VarSome API
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners to drive adoption and revenue
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine value propositions and messaging
• Travel internationally to engage with customers and support strategic accounts
