Job summary

Hotel Alpina in Rauris seeks motivated service apprentices to start a three-year apprenticeship in restaurant specialist duties. Train on site in a picturesque mountain setting and learn all aspects of guest service, from greeting guests to serving and wine recommendations.

Excellent performers in vocational school can receive bonuses and driver’s license sponsorship upon completion. Apprenticeship with Matura may be possible. Immediate start or by arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Greet, seat, and attend to guests during their restaurant visit.
• Set tables, prepare napkins and cutlery.
• Serve guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks.
• Recommend and serve drinks, including wines and cocktails.
• Communicate with guests in a friendly, professional manner and fulfill special requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Handle guest complaints, be solution-oriented, and ensure satisfaction.
