Job summary

Hotel Alpina Rauris is offering an apprenticeship in the kitchen to candidates who are eager to learn and grow. The program emphasizes teamwork, hygiene, and following head chef instructions to develop practical culinary skills.

Apprentices will receive training with opportunities for later certification, and the apprenticeship may include driving license sponsorship upon successful progression. The 3-year program starts immediately or by arrangement.

• Clean work surfaces, equipment, and kitchenware per hygiene regulations.
• Store food items and monitor inventory and hygiene standards.
• Listen, learn new techniques and recipes, and follow feedback.

Our requirements:

• Cutting, peeling, washing, and portioning vegetables, meat, fish, etc.
• Preparing and setting up all required ingredients and utensils for the workflow.
• Assisting in the preparation of dishes according to the head chef’s instructions
• Cleaning work surfaces, equipment, dishes, and kitchen utensils in accordance with hygiene regulations
• Storing food items, checking inventory levels, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards
• Active listening, learning new techniques and recipes, following instructions and feedback from experienced chefs
• Prioritizing tasks, efficient use of working time, and adhering to schedules during the workflow

Upon successful completion of vocational school, we will pay for our apprentices’ driver’s license as a further step toward independence!

Training duration: 3 years
starting IMMEDIATELY or by arrangement
