Zusammenfassung

Mistral is seeking AI Scientists with deep ML expertise to expand agentic tools across the engineering lifecycle, including CAE and EDA/Semi. You will build pre/post-training data for Mistral's LLMs to reason about and perform real engineering tasks, and shape agent architectures for reliable multi-step workflows.

You will collaborate with domain experts and the science team to ground this work in actual engineering practice, joining at the foundation to define good benchmarks and data pipelines

Qualifikationen

• Fluent English with excellent communication skills, able to explain technical ML concepts to diverse audiences.
• Deep hands-on machine learning expertise, with a focus on LLM development.
• Experience running and validating engineering workflows in CAD, CAE, semiconductor simulation, or EDA.

Aufgaben

• Design pretraining, SFT, and RL data for engineering tasks across CAD, CAE, and semiconductor/EDA.
• Define verifiers and evaluation criteria for engineering tasks beyond surface-level plausibility.
• Design and improve agent architectures and harnesses for multi-step engineering workflows.
