Qualifications

• PhD or Master's in CS/AI or engineering science.
• Hands-on ML expertise with model architectures and evaluation.
• Experience in simulation or surrogate modelling.
• Proficiency in Python and Linux/HPC.
• Strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Research and train novel foundation models for physics simulation.
• Design and run large-scale simulation campaigns using domain-specific solvers.
• Investigate architectures and training strategies for transfer and fine-tuning across tasks.
• Rigorously evaluate model coverage, accuracy, and robustness against validation standards.
• Stay abreast of scientific developments and contribute to AI-for-engineering research.
