Job summary

Erste Group Bank AG in Vienna seeks an AI Governance Advisor to bridge AI governance, strategy, and operational enablement. You will support governance frameworks, contribute to EU AI Act assessments, and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Security, and Data teams.

The role involves shaping AI strategy, engaging stakeholders, and coordinating AI use cases across Erste Group. The position offers a hybrid work environment in Vienna, with opportunities to work with senior leadership and

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in consultancy, technology advisory, or transformation roles.
Strong project or program management skills (PMP, Prince2, or agile certifications a plus).
Solid understanding of IT or data governance; experience in regulated industries is an asset.
Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

AI Governance & Compliance: support the Group AI Governance Framework and assist with EU AI Act assessments.
AI Strategy & Innovation: help develop and evolve the AI strategy and identify trends for Erste entities.
Operational Enablement & Use Case Support: act as sparring partner for AI use case owners and coordinate onboarding of new AI systems.
