Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a UX Designer to translate design vision into UI specifications and prototypes for Unreal Engine production. You will outline interaction routes, component structures, and behavior rules across platforms, while collaborating with engineers and UI artists to ensure workable, performant designs.

Candidates should have 2+ years in UI/UX for digital products or gaming, strong Figma expertise, and experience delivering annotated screens, state diagrams, and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Two+ years hands-on UI/UX experience in digital products or gaming interfaces
• Strong Figma skills: components, variants, auto-layout, libraries, documentation for handoff
• Ability to produce annotated designs, interaction overviews, state diagrams, and clear acceptance criteria
• Experience building UI inside Unreal Engine and understanding UMG basics
• Ability to design for multiple input types (controller, keyboard/mouse) and adapt to various resolutions

Responsibilities

• Create UI flows and interaction routes for game features and screens
• Develop and maintain a reusable UI component system and design patterns
• Document extensive behavioral rules for focus, navigation, and edge cases
• Collaborate with engineers and UI artists to ensure designs are workable and performant
• Provide feedback after playtesting and reflect findings in updated designs
