Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior UI Artist to own the look and feel of the game UI, delivering high‑fidelity designs and ship‑quality implementations in Unreal Engine. You will collaborate with design and engineering to build scalable UI systems across platforms.

You will translate UX wireframes into mockups, prototypes, and style guides, implement UI art in Unreal using UMG, Slate, and widget animations, and optimize assets for performance while ensuring accessibility and localization readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional UI art experience, ideally in games.
• Strong leadership to own a UI theme from concept to ship.
• Proven track record shipping UI across PC/console/mobile.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual direction of the UI from concept to ship quality.
• Translate UX wireframes into high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, design systems, and style guides.
• Implement final UI art in Unreal Engine using UMG, Slate, and widget animations.
• Create UI materials and shaders with Unreal Material Editor to maintain a consistent theme.
• Design game menus, HUDs, icons, and UI motion to meet gameplay needs.
• Author material-driven effects and basic Blueprint logic for UI.
