Job summary

Acciona It is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to guide technical SEO efforts across multiple higher-education client sites. The role combines in-depth audits, developer-spec writing, and hands-on WordPress tweaks with Claude-based tooling to automate workflows and QA.

You will monitor performance with GSC and GA4, prioritise high-impact fixes, and ensure scalable processes for AI-enabled search across a remote US-focused educational marketing portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
• Track record of uncovering high-impact issues and fixing them
• Hands-on experience with GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
• Strong WordPress knowledge to spec fixes precisely
• Advanced experience with Claude, including building agents and AI-assisted workflows
• Clear written communication: write specs for developers and recommendations for clients
• Comfort owning outcomes across many accounts at once

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts
• Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links
• Prioritize issues by impact and effort, and defend those calls
• Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams, then follow through until fixes are released
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, redirects, and schema
• Monitor GSC and GA4 to catch drops, errors, and indexing problems
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) and related content structure
• Build systems that scale the SEO service
• Design Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows for audits, prioritization, reporting, and QA
• Build content production systems converting briefs into drafts
• Translate team standards into reusable systems
• Connect Search Console, GA4, crawl exports, and Ahrefs/Semrush into workflows
• Document systems, train the team, measure time saved or results improved
• Support the team and client success
• Join client calls for deep technical explanations with SEO Lead
• Evaluate emerging search technologies and recommend tools and workflows
