Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will manage the full sales cycle, engage with operators, and deliver technical presentations to demonstrate service value.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering and product teams, pursue cross-sell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS, and ensure HSE compliance while delivering superior customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Directional Drilling or related tech.
• Experience with wellbore data and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with shale basins or operators in Vaca Muerta would be a plus.
• Ability to drive technical sales cycles and influence procurement stakeholders.
• Strong communication translating technical value to commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators (YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex) and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer insights in CRM.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
