General Motors in Argentina is seeking a capable accounting professional to oversee the preparation and review of technical memos for complex transactions under US GAAP and IFRS. You will partner with Controllership, Finance and corporate business partners across FP&A, Tax, Treasury, GPSC, and Legal to analyze transactions and determine the correct financial reporting.

The role includes preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual financial reporting information, driving process improvements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in IFRS and experience with SAP.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the preparation and review of technical accounting memos for complex transactions under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Partner with Controllership, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal to analyze transactions and determine reporting.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial disclosures for SEC-related reporting.
• Drive process modernization and policy updates with regional Controllership.
• Communicate technical accounting analyses to regional leaders.
• Contribute to training for regional Controllership on new or changed accounting policies.
