Job summary

General Motors in Buenos Aires/Argentina is seeking an accounting professional to support regional controllership. You will handle revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and close activities under US GAAP and IFRS, while applying internal controls and policies.

You will partner with Finance, Commercial, After Sales, Operations, IT, and shared services to improve processes, ensure accurate reporting, and participate in system initiatives and automation to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• English level at least intermediate.
• Experience in accounting and knowledge of SAP and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and controllership for South America under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Manage revenue recognition and finished goods inventory processes.
• Apply accounting policies, internal controls, and guidance to routine and complex matters.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, After Sales, Operations, IT and shared services.
• Support system implementations and automation projects in Controllership.
• Assist audits by providing documentation and process materials.
