Qualifications

• CPA degree required and knowledge of Argentine accounting standards.
• Experience with inflation accounting adjustments.
• Experience preparing complete financial statements including notes.
• Conversion of financial statements to USD functional currency.
• Experience coordinating external audits.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform General Ledger and monthly close activities per US GAAP and local standards.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analyses.
• Convert financial information from local currency to USD and analyze FX impacts.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and notes with supporting schedules.
• Coordinate external audit requests and complete necessary filings.
• Support process improvement and automation using data-analysis tools.
• Provide direction to a team and collaborate with regional finance.
• Research new accounting standards and apply them to GM.
