Job summary

General Motors Argentina is seeking a finance professional to support South America regional accounting and controllership in a multinational environment operating under US GAAP and IFRS. The role requires on-site presence three days a week (Tue-Thu) with hybrid flexibility.

You will work with Finance, Commercial, After Sales, Operations, IT, and shared services to drive accurate revenue recognition, inventory accounting, controls, and process improvements, including ERP and automation

Qualifications

• Support accounting and controllership activities for South America regional operations under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Handle revenue recognition and finished goods inventory accounting.
• Apply policies and controls to routine and complex matters with autonomy.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, After Sales, Operations, IT, and shared services.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly close for revenue recognition across markets.
• Review contracts for accounting treatment and timing of revenue recognition.
• Prepare recurring reports and performance metrics for revenue and accounting results.
• Ensure inventory accounting policies, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
• Support system implementations, ERP initiatives, and automation projects.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams for alignment and governance.
