AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to advise engineering teams on cloud costs and optimization. The role requires covering APAC business hours with overlap with PST and CST, including evening/night shifts in LATAM/US.

You will act as the primary contact for R&D teams, investigate spend anomalies, produce root-cause analyses, and deliver actionable cost opportunities. Strong collaboration and written reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Proficient cloud cost management and optimization.
• Able to investigate spend anomalies and produce root-cause analyses.
• Partner-facing with R&D/engineering teams.
• Forecasting experience with central and team forecasts.
• Familiar with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers.
• Strong cost modeling and tracking experience.
• Experience documenting investigations in Jira and Slack.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Availability to cover APAC hours with PST/CST overlap.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for R&D cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Conduct proactive engagement with APAC-based teams to review monthly spend and surface cost opportunities.
• Monitor cloud/AI spend for anomalies; perform structured investigations and produce root-cause analyses.
• Assist monthly forecasting with assigned R&D teams; document plans and spend intent.
• Contribute to showback reporting and top spending meetings with cost drivers.
• Maintain wiki space with Cost Awareness and Cost Education updates.
