AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to advise engineering on cloud costs and optimization. The role requires APAC business hours overlap and PST/CST coordination; flexible with remote/office options. You will partner with R&D teams and monitor AI/LLM spend to drive cost efficiency.

You will engage across monthly forecasting cycles, surface cost opportunities, and deliver root-cause analyses with clear recommendations. Excellent communication is essential.

Competenze

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Investigate spend anomalies and produce root-cause analyses.
• Partner-facing resource advising R&D/engineering teams.
• Cloud cost forecasting experience; align forecasts with team projections.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring.
• Cost modeling and team investment tracking.
• Proficiency with Jira for documenting investigations and Slack for real-time support.
• Maintain technical documentation/wiki spaces and recurring reporting (Showback).
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement.
• Availability to cover APAC business hours with PST overlap.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and channels.
• Conduct proactive engagement with APAC teams to review monthly cloud spending and surface cost opportunities; capture meeting notes and recommendations.
• Monitor cloud/AI spend for anomalies; investigate variances; deliver actionable optimization recommendations documented in Jira.
• Participate in monthly forecasting; align central forecasts with team plans and document spend intent.
• Contribute FinOps perspective to showback reporting and cost driver knowledge.
• Support Cost Awareness and Cost Education; audit and update wiki.
• Model team cost projections and respond to help requests via Slack, email, and other channels.
