AgileEngine, LLC seeks a Senior FinOps Analyst to guide engineering on cloud costs, overlap APAC hours, and deliver proactive spend analyses across R&D teams. You will forecast, model costs, and partner with engineers to optimize spend while maintaining clear documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, real-time cost guidance via Slack, and ongoing shows of cost drivers and governance across AI/LLM initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of FinOps experience.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization capabilities.
• Proven ability to investigate spend anomalies and write root-cause analyses.
• Partner-facing role, advising R&D/engineering teams.
• Cloud cost forecasting experience and aligning forecasts with team plans.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring.
• Cost modeling and team investment/tracking experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Availability to cover APAC business hours with PST/CST overlap.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Engage APAC-based teams to review monthly cloud spend and surface optimization opportunities.
• Monitor cloud/AI/LLM spend for anomalies, conduct investigations, and document root causes.
• Deliver actionable optimization recommendations and log work in Jira.
• Participate in monthly forecasting with team cohorts and document spend plans.
• Contribute to showback reporting with cost-driver insights for leadership meetings.
• Support cost awareness education and maintain wiki documentation.
• Model team cost projections and respond to inquiries via Slack and email.
