The ideal candidate has extensive FinOps experience, strong cost forecasting, and a track record of partnering with engineering teams to drive cost efficiency and governance. Remote-friendly with flexible scheduling.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of FinOps experience across cloud spend.
• Strong cloud cost management and optimization expertise.
• Ability to investigate spend anomalies and produce root-cause analyses.
• Partner-facing, consulting with R&D/engineering teams.
• Forecasting cloud spend and aligning with team projections.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/LLM cost drivers and monitoring spend.
• Cost modeling and tracking, Showback reporting.

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary contact for R&D teams seeking cloud cost guidance via Slack and other channels.
• Engage APAC-based teams to review monthly cloud spend and surface optimization opportunities.
• Monitor cloud/AI/LLM spend for anomalies; produce root-cause analyses and recommendations.
• Participate in monthly forecasting with assigned R&D teams and document plans.
• Contribute to showback reporting and cost education initiatives.
• Update wiki with cost information and runbooks.
• Respond to cost-related inquiries via Slack and email.
