Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an Associate Counsel to manage end-to-end contracting for clinical, commercial, and vendor agreements. You will review, negotiate, and draft service agreements, licensing, SaaS, HR and staffing contracts, coordinating with global legal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a JD/LLM/LLB from an accredited university and brings strong contract knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to balance legal risks with business goals while working across functions and under tight

Qualifications

JD/LLM/LLB or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Fully qualified lawyer; law firm or in-house experience is a bonus.
Knowledge of contracts and commercial laws; ability to provide practical, business-minded advice.
Ability to identify and balance legal risks and provide succinct guidance.
Ability to work semi-independently while contributing to cross-functional teams.
Strong relationship-building, analytical skills, independent judgment, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Assist end-to-end contracting for clinical, commercial, and corporate vendor contracts.
Review and negotiate sophisticated service agreements, Licensing, SaaS, HR & staffing agreements.
Draft legal documents and advise on contractual matters and risk mitigation.
Coordinate with Procurement, Data Privacy, and Sourcing to support contracting matters.
Collaborate with global legal teams to drive completion of contracts and provide responsive support.
