Job summary

EPAM Systems in Argentina seeks a Senior UX Designer to transform design visions into Unreal Engine-ready UI specifications and prototypes across platforms. You will shape flows, navigation, and component frameworks that connect design with engineering delivery.

Requirements include 3+ years of UI/UX experience, advanced Figma skills, and strong English (B2+). Collaboration with engineers and artists is essential to ensure technical viability and consistent UI across game environments.

Qualifications

• At least three years of applied UI/UX experience with shipped products or game interfaces.
• High-level Figma expertise: components, variants, auto-layout, reusable libraries, and handoff docs.
• Deliverables include annotated screens, interaction notes, state diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience building UI within Unreal Engine and understanding UMG concepts.
• Knowledge of focus-based navigation and multi-input methods (controller, keyboard/mouse).
• Ability to design for multiple resolutions and safe-area boundaries.
• English fluency at B2 level or better.

Responsibilities

• Plot UI flows, user journeys, and interaction structures for in-game screens and features, generating build-ready specification documents.
• Design and grow a scalable UI component framework with patterns, components, variants, and states to ensure consistent execution.
• Capture behavioral standards for navigation, focus order, input handling, and various edge cases.
• Collaborate with client engineers and UI artists to ensure designs are viable, performant, and cohesive in-engine.
• Lead polish efforts by evaluating builds and revising designs based on technical feedback and QA findings.
