EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead UI Artist to own the game's UI visuals from concept to ship-ready implementation in Unreal Engine 5. You will bridge visual design and tech art to deliver accessible, localization-ready interfaces across platforms.

Lead the UI direction, collaborate with design and engineering, and mentor junior artists while optimizing UI for performance on PC, console, and mobile.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional UI Artist experience, preferably in games.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Hands-on Unreal Engine 5 UI development (UMG, Slate, Materials).
• A strong portfolio in UI/UX visual design and iconography.
• Ownership of a UI theme or visual system from concept to final.
• Expertise in Figma and creating UI style guides.
• Knowledge of UI materials, shaders and real-time UI performance.
• Understanding of texture optimization and atlasing.
• Strong typography, layout and visual hierarchy sense.
• Cross-functional collaboration with design and engineering.
• High ownership mindset and attention to detail; comfortable with ambiguity.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).
